Workshop One: Learn the Rules, Watch them Bend.
 
This session will introduce and demystify the "Mysore-style" method of supervised self-practice. The tools we will use are: Asana, Pranayama, Meditation and Conversation. "Mysore-style" practice is the ground zero of the Ashtanga Vinyasa methodology. It's a genuine All-Levels class, where students develop a practice at their own pace, receive plenty of one-to-one assistance and all the benefits of a group experience. It's a deeply focused and quiet space, save for the sound of Free Breathing and whispered, personal instructions from a teacher who knows your name.
 
 
Workshops Two, Three & Four: Sustainable Growth
 
The remainder of the series will build upon the teachings of Part One: each student's practice will develop according their unique
capacities. Areas of group focus will include: the Dynamics of Vinyasa; Troubleshooting Common Challenges; the Philosophy of Practice and Layers of Effect. The overall focus will be on a two way Conversation: to address the group's needs and lines of inquiry, on and off the mat. Prepare to participate!
