Ideally, all yoga is a balance between yin and yang, effort and surrender. It can be more challenging in a culture where we are accustomed to rushing, to slow down and give our bodies ample time to rest, restore, and recharge.
In this practice we will give plenty of support to your body, so that you are able to deeply relax. Our body's immunity and even digestion are greatly affected by stress, and promoting relaxation through this gentle practice can help to reduce chronic stress. Along with being an experience and sanctuary in itself, this workshop will also provide you with yogic tools to mange stress on a daily basis.
